We are thrilled to announce that our new LTS version 24.12 is now available for our customers.

We release two LTS versions each year, and LTS 24.12  includes all new features from the past six months, including several new highlights. First, our newly enhanced 2D drawing analysis is now powered by AI. We're also proud to present a new integration with Meltio's wire laser additive manufacturing (WLAM) technology, which is now available in Part Identification.

LTS 24.12 is now available for our enterprise on-premise and AWS GovCloud customers.

AI-based 2D Drawing Analysis

Why do 2D drawings matter?

For most legacy systems, 2D drawings are the only technical data available. Even if 3D models exist, 2D drawings are often the source of truth for critical data points (e.g., material). Organizations can have hundreds of thousands of 2D drawings, but manual analysis is labor-intensive, and thus, only a tiny percentage can be considered.

AI-based analysis is the answer. However, the solution must cover hundreds of 2D drawing formats, support custom-specific data, and fulfill the highest security standards.

Believe it or not, we managed it all.

Our newest 3YOURMIND version extracts more data from 2D drawings, is more accurate, and performs better than ever before. It is now fully customizable with a trainable AI engine. Our users can easily identify which parts are technically feasible and for which production technology. To sweeten the deal, the 3YOURMIND software automatically gives them a price estimate based on actual market averages.

Integration With PTC Creo Empowers Engineers

3YOURMIND Part Identification is now fully integrated with PTC Creo.

This functionality is a game changer for engineers who have ever felt the pain of jumping in and out of incompatible software platforms. Users no longer need to pull information from PTC Creo and upload it to 3YOURMIND – now part analysis and manufacturability checks can be performed directly via the CREO CAD software. As a result, designers can more confidently optimize their creations for AM with guidance on thin-wall design, overhang limitations, hole and printing orientation, and more.

Key Features and Capabilities:

• Easy File Transfer: Through our partnership with PTC, you can now send .prt and .asm files directly from Creo to Part Identification.
• Embedded Metadata Recognition: Automatically extract metadata such as part name, description, revision, department, assembly details, tolerances, sizes, and more to create parts effortlessly.
• Empower AM Design: Designers can now send parts for evaluation directly from PTC Crewo and quickly determine if their design suit AM technologies such as L-PBF, WAAM, and WLAM.

Now Supporting Wire Laser Additive Manufacturing

Part Identification just got a significant upgrade, offering flexibility to manage technologies.

The new technology framework empowers platform administrators to effortlessly add, edit, or remove technologies. This framework simplifies linking cost and lead-time scripts, enabling precise tuning for specific technologies.

New technologies will be added incrementally. Meltio's wire laser additive manufacturing (WLAM) technology is our latest addition and is now available in 3YOURMIND Part Identification.
