Visibility & Compliance: 3YOURMIND's Focus in 25.2 Update

Product Stephan Galozy | February 27, 2025 | 3 min read

February product updates: more granularity on manufacturability checks, improved visibility, and seamless compliance.

We're rolling into February with updates that enhance efficiency, security, and visibility across your workflows. From more intelligent manufacturability assessments to streamlined invoicing, these improvements are designed to save time and boost precision in your operations.

Here's what's new:

Part Identification: See All Technologies at a Glance

Previously, we could display only up to three technologies, often limited to metal or plastic. Now, with more available technologies, customers can see all options—whether produced in-house or sourced from a supplier—ensuring better decision-making and greater flexibility.

Show feasible technologies only (Default) – Hides non-feasible options while allowing access through the technology selector.

Show all preferred technologies – Set preferred technologies in the admin panel, ensuring they're always displayed in the chosen order.

Show preferred technologies with matching material class – Filter technologies based on material class for even more precise recommendations.

Enhanced Usability

✔ The manufacturability assessment table now has more space and visibility, improving readability.

✔ The manufacturability and economics table now defaults to a collapsible view, allowing quick access to key insights.

More Improvements to Manufacturability Checks

Gap Analysis Check – Identifies gaps between surfaces that may impact print quality.

Sharp Edges Check – Highlights edges that could be challenging to manufacture without additional post-processing.

Cross Section Area Check – Ensures material deposition meets design specifications to prevent defects and optimize efficiency.

Distributed Manufacturing: More Compliant Operations

Support for ZUGFeRD / Factur-X Invoice Format

Generate compliant invoices – This update enables service bureaus in Germany and France to issue legally compliant invoices effortlessly (EU/2014/55).

✔ Activate this feature via Fulfillment Partners - Advanced Settings (disabled by default for simplicity).

Enhanced Part Priority Visibility

New Priority Icons – Instantly identify urgent tasks with new priority icons in the Part List. Clearly distinguish "Very High," "High," "Medium," "Low," and "Very Low" priorities at a glance.

Other Improvements

Stronger User Blocking Capabilities – Organization administrators can now permanently block unauthorized users to ensure a more secure environment.

Unified Material Naming Across the Platform – Material names are now standardized across dropdowns and tables, improving consistency while preserving custom naming for customer-facing views.

Zero Cost Catalog Parts – Services can now offer catalog parts at no cost, ideal for internal operations where parts are provided without charge.
